Manatees

While in Florida the kids went to a cool place where manatees come by the swarms. The warm water draws hundreds of manatees daily.But...it was COLD!

Highland Hammock State Park 2009

We went on a tram ride at Highland Hammock State Park which is just down the road from my parents' house. Here they get the opportunity to view gators and learn about Sebring's natural history.

Daycare Christmas Program 2009

Max and Maddie had their daycare program and did amazing! They sang songs and repeated rhymes. Soooo Cute! Kathy does an incredible job with these kids and they would do anything for her! Whenever I give Maddie a time out she always says to me.."I'm telling Kathy on you!" Arde is the "old man" of the group at 5 years old. Can you tell? He goes to kathy's house only half days now that he is going to school in the afternoon.

Christmas in Florida 2009

Here are our group of "troublemakers". Ben, Max, and Maddie are with my sister Shelley's kids, Kailey and Lauren. Kailey and Lauren only live an hour a way from my parents' house in Florida so they got to spend a lot of time with their cousins...which they loved! Here is the Bunny Hop train!

Gram and Gramp with the grandkids..and Hope, too! (the dog)

Ben Christmas Program

Here we all are at Ben's Christmas program. The kids had more fun after the program than during it!

Here are Ben and Max with their good friends, Bryce and Veronica.

Cookie making

The kids wanted to help me make Christmas cookies this year. A hassel...yes, but worth it to see their smiles!

Ready to put in the oven. Hmmm, who gets the big one in the middle?

Western Program

Arde had his 4K Western Program in November. He dressed like a cowboy and sang cowboy songs. There is nothing cuter than a group of 4/5 year olds performing!
Kathy (our daycare provider) came to watch. It is such a blessing having a wonderful person like Kathy to watch our children during the day. She is like another grandma to our kids. We love you Kathy! :) Grandma and Grandpa Szel also came. It was bittersweet, though. After the program they left to spend the winter in Florida. We miss them terribly, but feel lucky they are healthy and able to enjoy their retirement!

Ben missed an hour of class to attend. Max always has to go to Ben's activities so, he thought it was really cool Ben showed up to watch him. Despite all the fighting and wresting...they really do love each other!

Blizzard December 2009

SNOW DAY!!
All ready to face the snow!

Here are the boys trying to shovel our driveway.

Gotta love winter in Wisconsin!

Santa 2009

Ben was a little "too cool" for Santa. But...he still BELIEVES!

We went to see Santa last weekend and the kids got a chance to go shopping for Jeremy and I for Christmas. The library puts out a lot of donated gifts out on tables and for $2.00 the kids can buy gifts. Jeremy and I always get a chuckle to see what we get for Christmas. Jeremy always gets tools and I get towels and candles. Very sweet!

Hunting Farm

The boys got a chance to go to "the farm" this weekend with Jeremy to do a little hunting with Jeremy and my dad. Thanks, David for letting the guys crash the party! Ben and Max had a blast hanging out doing guy things.Grandpa and his two little hunters

Ben found this stick out in the woods and created a bow for himself. Arde is holding the bullet casings from when Jeremy sited in his gun.

Maddie Pics
